I’m disappointed I’m not a dog person. I love other people’s dogs, but I can’t keep up with taking care of my own. It makes anxious and never leave the house bc im paranoid they’ll have an accident in the house. We fostered a black lab retriever mix a few weeks ago who was 3 years old because it wasn’t that long. Turns out our cats are extremely territorial, they wouldn’t let the dog up stairs or down stairs when all he wanted to do was sleep on the bed.

In the end I have to accept I’m a cat person. I love my fluffs, and I have to accept that dogs just aren’t my thing. I think people need to be willing to try new things and be ok if they find out it’s not them. Lefties should go on cop side by sides, and far right Hicksvilles should hit up a random gay pride parade.

As my anger management needing mother always says. There is nothing better than a cat who loves you who doesn’t have to....of course she says this in the same breath before cussing out my dad ...

Hello new followers, I hope I don’t disappoint you. I want this place to feel like home, where we can escape the Thunderdome and process the world. Where we can post dog pics and recipes and book recommendations. Where we support each other as we get sober, lose weight, embark on new business opportunities, creative endeavors, relationships and travels. I want this to be your oasis of sanity and laughter in an increasingly mad world. A creative outlet where you can share your spirit with us.

We might not have any control over the news cycle—but we can control our habits and attitude. It all starts with us. And hopefully a little piece of that will start here.

Every time I hear a politician start talking, the chorus of this song starts playing in my head.

"Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies." And now it's in your head, too. You're welcome.

Taking the Mothership out as a sidewalk shop today. My biz partner and I are building out a fleet of off-the-grid, vintage, artist designed campers for rent. When life gives you lemons... You squeeze back in life's eye and say "Oh, hell no... Mama is going out in style."
