I sent this to my daughter.

Beauty. I love beautiful things. These can be people, ideas, nature, even the perfect swing or catch. One of my favorite “Beauties” is Audrey Hepburn. Some of my favorite photos are of her. Not necessarily of the physical beauty, but of the whole shot. The setting, the stance, the colors. Not only was she beautiful in appearance, but also in soul, her humanitarian work was amazing. Her take here is stunning, I think it shows us what true beauty is. Surely better than what passes for that today.

Hello new followers, I hope I don’t disappoint you. I want this place to feel like home, where we can escape the Thunderdome and process the world. Where we can post dog pics and recipes and book recommendations. Where we support each other as we get sober, lose weight, embark on new business opportunities, creative endeavors, relationships and travels. I want this to be your oasis of sanity and laughter in an increasingly mad world. A creative outlet where you can share your spirit with us.

We might not have any control over the news cycle—but we can control our habits and attitude. It all starts with us. And hopefully a little piece of that will start here.

Proof I'm under surveillance. Although my language is nowhere near this flowery.

Happy Tuesday Pham.

Covid19, pheasant, family, dogs, cancer and a really good time....

My brother had 'rona a couple of weeks ago, my dad is 79 years old and fighting cancer, spent 58 days in the hospital two years ago...Got "no coded" three times...It was the first time he'd been to a hospital since he broke his arm in high school...It's been a rough couple of years to say the least...

Never the less, we all three went pheasant hunting yesterday....Something we've done for 40 years or so....The dogs have changed but the three men are the same...albeit scarred, longer haired, and not as combative as we were back when we were teens and dad was a young, carmen working on the railroad, aiming to make sure we had a good life....

This was Saul's second "big hunt" and the first time he got to play first fiddle....He had a few
screw ups...Chased after some other dog's etc... but he finally simmered down...We had a runner, my brother's dog is 10 years old and just couldn't flush the bird...We set Saul ...
