I thought today I'd try posting something I've been working on. It's the first chapter of a novel I'm writing. Actually, I'm hoping to turn it into a screenplay, but I thought a novel might be easier to sell, especially since I don't live in a major filmmaking hub.
I don't want to give too much away, but basically it's a cynical/sardonic/satirical take on retail consumerism, politics in small cities-- particularly the dangers of corporate cronyism, and especially Christmas and the traditions thereof. I'm calling it "Santa's House".
