Re: #21 on Amazon bestsellers, podcast about.

Dear Bridget-

I know you are barraged with recommendations "you must listen to this podcast." Conversely, I hope this won't get lost in your inbox of recommendations, because in the 5 years I've known you, I don't remember ever pushing one on you. Because I'm doing this now, I hope that will be enough reason for you spend 72 minutes on it.

It's a new podcast from journalist and author Robert Bryce with 30 years experience in the field of energy and power, interviewing Michael Shellenberger, who's book is #21 overall on Amazon (#1 in environmental subject) . It's great because Bryce, a free market conservative, and Shellenberger, a Malthusian progressive, come to total agreement that humanism, the idea than serving people first, is the overriding positive idea.

I do hope you will listen, and come to the conclusion it's worth your own recommendation to the likes...

Hello new followers, I hope I don’t disappoint you. I want this place to feel like home, where we can escape the Thunderdome and process the world. Where we can post dog pics and recipes and book recommendations. Where we support each other as we get sober, lose weight, embark on new business opportunities, creative endeavors, relationships and travels. I want this to be your oasis of sanity and laughter in an increasingly mad world. A creative outlet where you can share your spirit with us.

We might not have any control over the news cycle—but we can control our habits and attitude. It all starts with us. And hopefully a little piece of that will start here.

Babylon Bee BNN Week In Review

I'm back! And I'm drunk. #BabylonBee

It's the first cool, gray, dreary day of Fall in my neck of the woods and I'm relishing the excuse to drink cocoa and stay cozy inside.

Two more days of this and I'll be cranky, tho.
