I watch others vices
Curious about what I see
The lady inspects the rices
She pays me my ask for fee

I pass the old man smoking
I see a tipsy girl
What is with the man choking
The screamers ready too hurl

What is all this protection
The harms of all this world
No one has made the deduction
Everyone could just be bored

I flip a cigarette in my hand
Afraid of the conversation to come
I see the empty chair as as a passerby fanned
I sit here feeling so dumb

I take a soft puff as the paper alights
I gulp my vodka diluted with sprite
I take a deep breath as the cig hits the block
I smile as I close my toolbox

A racing mind of ideas and thoughts
The feeling of not caring at all
Here I sit ready to take on the watts
Until next year when the toolbox calls

Hello new followers, I hope I don’t disappoint you. I want this place to feel like home, where we can escape the Thunderdome and process the world. Where we can post dog pics and recipes and book recommendations. Where we support each other as we get sober, lose weight, embark on new business opportunities, creative endeavors, relationships and travels. I want this to be your oasis of sanity and laughter in an increasingly mad world. A creative outlet where you can share your spirit with us.

We might not have any control over the news cycle—but we can control our habits and attitude. It all starts with us. And hopefully a little piece of that will start here.

Is this a #BreakingBridget segment item? Girl Scouts send a tweet congratulating Amy Coney Barrett for being nominated to SCOTUS. Then, they take it down and offer their atonement to the WokeScolds - I mean, an apology. They’re still getting hammered for even making the tweet. This is why we can’t have nice things.

Watching Pink Floyd - The making of Dark Side of the Moon tonight. I can't listen to Pink Floyd much because I feel like they put me in a funk. That said, David Gilmour may be my favorite guitarist. What a band.
