Recently, we’ve all been trying to make sense of our current political and social climate, and have seen many lists of individuals suggesting the works of different scholars and public intellectuals. I’ll give a brief introduction to two of those people I haven’t seen many suggest, and certainly neither together. To this community especially, I think it’ll provide a good perspective.
The main topic of our conversation and debate appears to be the decline of trust in our institutions, and in circles of thought like this one, college campuses seem to be at the forefront.
