Hi! I'm Geoff, a musician from Cincinnati. I've been slowly absorbing and falling in love with Dumpster Fire over the past few weeks on YouTube (as well as Maggie's voice). I really like the idea of this community and wanted to check it out.

Long story short, I injured my back a couple years ago, and in the process of recovery, discovered an ability to get my thoughts out in song, writing over 120 of them while flat on my back. The time spent reflecting made me realize what is truly important in life and I have become encouraged to live my best life with this newly discovered talent. I recorded an EP and was clear to start getting myself back in shape post-surgery in February, to pursue my dreams, right before the plague hit. But I've been social distancing since way before it was cool so I continue to wait for my chance to let myself loose on the world.

I'm not here to self promote, though, just to introduce myself and my main passion, and extend my wish and my hope to meet ...

Hello new followers, I hope I don’t disappoint you. I want this place to feel like home, where we can escape the Thunderdome and process the world. Where we can post dog pics and recipes and book recommendations. Where we support each other as we get sober, lose weight, embark on new business opportunities, creative endeavors, relationships and travels. I want this to be your oasis of sanity and laughter in an increasingly mad world. A creative outlet where you can share your spirit with us.

We might not have any control over the news cycle—but we can control our habits and attitude. It all starts with us. And hopefully a little piece of that will start here.

Got in some good snugs with this monster this morning🥰

Now he is following me around like my hands owe him something ( he is terrified of thunderstorms and I’m pretty sure that’s the only reason he is so snuggly today but I’ll take it!)

Morning Phetasy Phamily! My #SoberOctober ended today, many thanks to all of you for the support and encouragement. While I didn't lose the 15 pounds I ideally hoped to lose, I came close at 13.5 with less exercise than I planned but better disciplined fasting & abstaining. 2 More days for those of you running until November the 1st! Happy Friday Phamily!

It was Einstein who said
Either nothing is a miracle,
Or everything is -
A jagged mountain range,
Lilacs in bloom,
A peacock unfurled,
Sun on your arm,
the touch of a stranger.

Take your pick: be surprised
By nothing at all,
Or by everything that is.
