So, I'm confused about contrary action. Especially in relation to the idea that depression is nature's way of slowing us down so we can heal. Does the fact that my mind and body are screaming at my to stay on the couch and ignore the fitbit buzzing at me to get up and get some steps in mean that I need to stay put and let myself rest? Or does that mean I that staying on the couch is the worst thing I could do?
