Pesto Making and Banter!
'll be making a simple pesto recipe from my favorite old reliable cookbook, "How to Cook Everything."
If you want to follow along all you need:
2 loosely packed cups fresh basil leaves, big stems discarded, rinsed, and dried
salt to taste
1/2 to 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
2 tablespoons pine nuts or walnuts, lightly toasted in a dry skillet
1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
1/2 cup fresh grated Parm or other hard cheese (optional)
Food processor or blender
