This place, this little corner of the internet, has become so much more than I ever could have imagined. A true virtual "Pham." And now I'm seeing it seep into the real world--members of this community breaking bread together for Thanksgiving makes my heart glow. We've shared a death in the community. We've raised money for a boat in South Africa. We've been through an election and a pandemic. We've seen one another through the loss of loved ones and pets. We fight and come back together again in respect and love.
You truly are a model for what the original promise of the internet was. That we would meet people from all over the country and world, share our differences and strengths and connect on a human level.
Every day I'm inspired by this place and all of you in it. When I'm wondering what the heck I'm doing, all I have to do is come here and scroll for five minutes--and I'm reminded. It's not about me.
Thank you for being my supporters, my teachers, my friends. I appreciate you all so much. I hope you enjoy this day however that looks for you. Even if it means eating a pizza and watching football alone. I've done that too and I love it.
Happy Thanksgiving, Pham! Love you all. Mr. Phetasy also sends his love and gratitude.
