Has anyone experienced any noteworthy health benefits from foods that they'd like to talk about? I've always struggled with mood issues, anxiety, focus, and energy. (I'm also a recovering alcoholic with 2+ years sobriety.) I tried Reishi mushroom power recently but I think it made my lips swell up and gave me a headache. I ordered some "Lion's Mane" mushroom powder to try next. I've been drinking a daily smoothie with fruits, vegetables, almond milk, and turmeric and drinking water with chia seeds and lemon. I have felt better, though I know correlation isn't causation.
Anyway, is this all just snake oil? Am I crazy? What do you guys think? (Supplements salespeople out there: this might be a conflict of interest, so check your privilege ;)). <3
