I think I’m looking forward to this no politics challenge for the month a bit more now, because what Bridget said about seeing what else can fill that void and how much better it is, and also I am now viewing it more as a challenge to myself, which raises the appeal for me. While I have great respect and admiration for those in this community who really enjoy cooking, and all its aspects, the skill required, the planning, etc., the fact is I do not, nor am I particularly good at it. I also don’t care to do much to address this particular weakness, at least not at this time, maybe that will change in the future. However, to survive without wasting a ton of money and/or eating a really unhealthy diet, I had to find a way around this sort of self-imposed limitation, and Metabolic Meals did that for me.

Hello new followers, I hope I don’t disappoint you. I want this place to feel like home, where we can escape the Thunderdome and process the world. Where we can post dog pics and recipes and book recommendations. Where we support each other as we get sober, lose weight, embark on new business opportunities, creative endeavors, relationships and travels. I want this to be your oasis of sanity and laughter in an increasingly mad world. A creative outlet where you can share your spirit with us.

We might not have any control over the news cycle—but we can control our habits and attitude. It all starts with us. And hopefully a little piece of that will start here.
